5 Days Trek Itinerary
Pothana


Day 1 - Pokhara to Pothana
Drive to Dhampus, then a short trek 2-3 hours to Pothana (1,920 m) through lush forests and a peaceful village offering a first glimpse of the mountains.
Forest Camp


Day 2 - Pothana to Forest Camp (Kokar)
5-6 hours trek to Forest Camp, locally known as Kokar (2,600 m) enters a dense forest filled with rhododendron, maple, and oak trees. It’s a quiet, senere walk with nature all around.
High Camp


Day 3 - Forest Camp to High Camp
6-7 hours trek to High Camp (3,580 m). The trail continues uphill through beautiful cloud forests and eventually rises above the tree line. At high camp, close-up views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. It’s a breathtaking spot, especially at sunrise and sunset.
Mardi Himal View Point


Day 4 - Rest/Explore to View Point
Rest at High Camp or option for an early morning hike up to the Mardi Himal View Point (4,200 m). These spots offer jaw dropping views of the Himalayan giants. Return to High Camp for overnight stay.
Siding Village


Day 5 - High Camp to Pokhara via Siding
6-7 hours descent is long but scenic, winding down through forests and terraced fields to Siding, a charming Gurung village. Drive back to Pokhara.
